About Country rose manor

How We Began

On Sunday, March 29th, 2020, I received this text from our neighbor,

Ms. Mackie Chesnutt. (Ms. Mackie was original owner of Crumpet Tea

Room and had been fighting a courageous battle of cancer for over a year.)

“Our home is so full of Love and Memories I will never forget! The thought

of leaving it with a total stranger breaks my heart. It’s so full of blessings,

to know it could give so many more blessings to moms and children would

be an answer to prayers!! If it is meant to be, it will be in God’s hands. Love

you guys and stay safe.”

In late July, after months of struggling with God, He woke me at

3:00 a.m. and spoke to my heart “You came here with $600.00

and look what I have done, trust Me.” So, the next day we called

and told Ms. Mackie and Pastor Jackie that we would take the big

leap of faith and would be purchasing the property. Over the

next few days, God continued to unfold the dream of this

property being able to create a revenue stream that would

provide funding for The Children’s Advocacy Center and

Restoration Village and also be a venue that would be able to

provide training, jobs, housing for women who were continuing

their journey of sustainability and healing. Country Rose Manor

Wedding and Event Center was born, our third 501©3.

When Ms. Mackie passed away August 29th, 2020, she was able to

realize her dream of her home being filled with love, continuing

the mission and vision, and service she had provided to so many

throughout her life.

-Beverly Engle, Founder & Director

About the Founders

Beverly and David Engle opened up Restoration Village, a long-term, faith based women’s shelter for those coming out of crisis on June 6th, 1989. They continued serving our community by opening up Arkansas’s 3rd Children’s Advocacy Center next door in 2000. After selflessly serving our community for 32 years, they are continuing to serve the non-profits they opened. Proceeds from Country Rose Manor will benefit both Restoration Village and Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County to help continue the legacy of Beverly and David’s work.
